    Superb

The location was convenient to Downtown areas we were there to see. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

    1) Noise. There was construction going on all night behind our room, and a large group of 18 - 22 year old girls were on our floor and were extremely noisy in the halls. 2) Parking. We had to pay an additional $16.00 to park in the hotel parking lot. This was not mentioned in anything we had read prior to booking. I would recommend this hotel for someone on a business trip, but would hesitate to recommend it to a family on vacation. Not a disaster, but overall disappointing with the hidden costs and noise.

    Superb

Very helpful staff, particularly DeeDee who promptly addressed all of our concerns. We really appreciate the pride she takes in her work. Hotel is perfect for a Cavs or Indians outing.

    Superb

The beds were very comfortable and the room was nicely put together. We had some negative experience at the front desk, however the desk clerk Dee Dee saved the day. The input box says that i can write up to 300 words. I don't think thats enough space to be able to express my gratitude to her for how welcome and assured she made me feel. She is a true representitve of what image I think the hilton would like to project. Thanks again Dee Dee, I'm sure that you are vastly under paid.

The parking was limited so we had a little walk and it was a bit unsettling to know that I was parking out of the confinds of the hotel parking. I understand that space is limited in a down town hotel, so I was not angry at this. Just a bit unsure.

    Exceptional

It was a great hotel! Conveniently located, we could walk to our event at the Wolestein Center. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating & friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was five star! I had the walleye, my husband the ribs & chicken. Both were excellent and we are picky eaters. The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean.

The cost of the parking. I think it should be included with staying at the hotel.

    Good

The location suited me very well. I was in Cleveland, for two nights, so that I could have a shopping-day break between a Greyhound bus trip from Indianapolis and a very long plane trip back to South Korea (Cleveland to Newark/NY, then to Narita/Japan, then to Seoul/Korea - more than 19 hours of flying time in one day, in total). So I wanted to have the exercise of walking to the hotel, from the Greyhound terminal, walking around town on my free day, and walking to the train station (to the airport), at 4.30 am, on the morning of my long air trip. The location of the hotel allowed me to do all of those walking trips. I didn't need to take a taxi for the two days that I was in Cleveland.

The staff member who booked me in was very a very abrasive person to deal with. When I've booked through Booked.net before, I've been aware that your credit card details are taken, at the time of booking, but you are not charged with the cost of the room at that stage. Consequently, when you arrive at your hotel, you can decide to pay how you wish - by cash if that's what you want. And I always want to pay by cash. (I have reasons why I only use my Visa card - which is actually a debit card, not a credit card - for emergencies. For everything else, I like to pay cash. However, the staff member who booked me in, informed me that my room had already been paid for, via my credit card, and that I only had to give her extra money in case I might incur some other expenses at the hotel. When I told her that the room cost should not have been debited to my Visa account, and that the booking-com system allowed me to pay by cash, she acted as though it was just not allowed that I could pay cash. When I insisted, she made a phone call to some more senior person, who informed her that what I said was true - and that I could pay by cash. But she was most abrasive about all of that. Actually, when I made the booking on Booked.net, on the final screen there was a notice, from Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland, that the full amount of the room would be deducted, using my supplied Visa card details, BEFORE I actually arrived at the hotel. I forget when that deduction was supposed to occur. I think it said something like "the day before". When I saw that, I was really annoyed because the Booked.net information had been as suited me - no deductions (except for not turning up), until the arrival. So I actually sent an e-mail to the hotel, to tell them that I did not want my Visa card acco0unt debited, and that I wanted to pay, on arrival, by cash - as I'd expected I could do.

Tried to switch me to lower priced room based on sold out status. Not sold out. Claimed third party reservations are not guaranteed. That's not what my receipt said. :)

    Fabulous

Our request to be on a higher floor was approved and we were on the 11th floor

The wind was coming through the window all night (thus the 11th floor) and the air cond and fan were too noisy to even turn on

    Good

The Location is good. It was very clean like I would expect any Hotel to be. Staff was friendly.

Very Over priced! Parking is extra! Breakfast was extra! Booked.net charges 16.25% tax??? Funny cause my tax rate here is 6.5% Hmmm! Better to just go through the hotel itself cause then atleast your breakfast is included for the extra 10 bucks!!!

    Exceptional

Very friendly staff from check in to check out and all in between. Very nice hotel and condition. Typically you find something sketchy about all hotels.. but this one appeared to be almost brand new. The upkeep is amazing. Great location as well. I Walked from the hotel to all points of downtown easily. I asked for a city view when I checked in.. and the attached pic was what I could see from my 7th floor room looking north.

    Nothing.. my stay was great.

A comfortable bed, excellent shower make for a great stay. Add in the most friendly and helpful staff and you have a great rating. As for location we were next to the Indians ball park and the hotel offered free shuttle service to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame an other venues.

The pool was a little cool but now I am just being picky.

    Good

Hotel was not the quality expected of a 'Hilton'. Also not representative of the photos and image projected on the website. I actually drove past it three times looking for the hotel that looked like the picture on the site.

The lady at the front desk was AWESOME...friendly, helpful, engaging...just wonderful all the way around. Wish I could remember her name. Maybe Naada...something similar.
